mbergmanDr. Meredith Bergman leads a private psychiatry practice located in the Flatiron district of New York City. She is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology and has studied at numerous institutions including Oxford, Cornell and NYU. Her diverse career trajectory has spanned training in mathematics, evolutionary biology, infectious disease, integrative medicine, animal behavior, women’s health, yoga and meditation. In addition to her private practice, she is a former psychiatrist at the NYU Medical Student Health Service and at Bellevue’s Psychiatric Emergency Room and is currently on the faculty of the NYU School of Medicine, where she teaches psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to medical students and residents. She has authored numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals as well as chapters in books on psychiatry.
